Thread the DDS 500 Decompression Brace through the cutouts of the Posterior Panel so that the brace is on the inside of panel and is between the patients’ body and panel.
Fasten the front panel to the interior Velcro of left wing of the belt.Position the brace around the patients torso, center the DDS logo patch in the very front of the patients’ body, adjust the rear and front panels for optimal placement and fit, secure the DDS 500 Decompression Brace with the Velcro fasteners and inflate.
Although there are 10 different sizes of the DDS 500 Decompression Brace (Small thru 7XL), there are just 5 different sizes of panels sets (#1 / Small thru #5 / 2X-Large). With this in mind please refer to the chart (at left) to match the recommended panel size with the belt size. However, please keep in mind that all body shapes are different and nothing is engraved in stone with respect to the recommended sizing chart, you might find that a different size panel, either the next size larger or smaller may better fit your patient.
Decreases Axial Loading.
Relaxes Muscle Spasms and Muscle Cramps.
Advanced Tubeless Air Cell Design for Narrow Fit.
For Strenuous Jobs Requiring Heavy Lifting or Long Hours of Driving.
Maintain Proper Posture (Improper Posture Places the Upper Body Weight on the Discs that Causes Back Pain).
In lumbar disc bulge or herniation, the intervertebral disc suffers from the effects of axial loading caused by gravity. This results in the bulged or herniated disc compressing against nerve tissue, which causes back pain, sciatica, and muscle spasm.
The DDS 500 Lumbar Spinal-Air Decompression Brace assists in returning the disc and nucleus pulposus toward their normal physiologic state by decreasing axial loading, thereby reducing intra-discal pressure, through the expandable vertical air cells within the device
The unique and patented spinal-air traction design sets it apart from all other ambulatory supports. The DDS 500 offers traction and support as opposed to just support like all other belts on the market. Our device is the ultimate lumbar traction/support back brace.
The DDS 500 before inflation is 4.3” vertical height. After inflation the brace expands vertically approximately 2.8” to a vertical height of 7”.

We take great pride in introducing the DDS 500 Lumbar Spinal-Air Decompression Brace. The unique and innovative design of our brace will provide continuous relief and speed up your recovery which will allow you to embrace life without any restrictions. Enjoy all the daily activities that were once too difficult.
The DDS 500 Lumbar Spinal-Air Decompression Brace is in a class of its own, unlike all other traditional support belts that limit mobility, the thin and light weight design of our brace along with the patented expandable air-traction system is designed to mold to the natural curvature of the lumbar spine offering our patients a high degree of mobility as well as support while assisting with active-rehabilitation. However, one of the features that makes the DDS 500 Decompression Brace the most unique and versatile brace of its kind is the “Detachable Anterior and Posterior Rigid Panels”. The rigid panels have been specifically designed and are the perfect solution for the patient that requires extra spinal stabilization. As the patient progresses with their active-rehabilitation, the need for another brace is eliminated by simply removing the detachable rigid panels either one at a time or all together to easily convert our belt to a soft LSO (Lumbar Sacral Orthosis) for greater flexibility.
